Meta is expanding its AI ambitions with a wave of new devices and services built around its Muse AI agent, according to CNN.
At its Connect event, CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled lightweight virtual reality glasses, camera-free Ray-Ban smart glasses and a keychain-sized device called Muse Charm.
The company also plans to let Muse shop through Walmart, GameStop, Gap and Wayfair, while expanding its ability to operate computer applications and handle tasks independently.
The company is also introducing audio-only Ray-Bans at $349 and updated camera-equipped models starting at $449. The launches come despite growing privacy concerns surrounding Meta’s smart glasses.
Sensor Tower estimates Muse has surpassed 2.5 million downloads, although it remains behind major AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.
Zuckerberg said Meta expects billions of people to eventually use Muse as AI becomes more integrated into daily life.
