Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah escalated again in southern Lebanon, with both sides accusing each other of violating a fragile ceasefire, as reported by regional statements and military updates.
Hezbollah said it carried out drone strikes on Israeli military targets in response to what it described as Israeli attacks on civilian areas.

The Israel Defense Forces said its operations were a reaction to Hezbollah aggression. Spokesman Avichay Adraee warned civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate ahead of planned strikes, citing safety concerns.
According to Lebanese authorities, more than one million people have been displaced by ongoing evacuation orders. The report said Israeli forces intend to maintain control over parts of southern Lebanon until Hezbollah’s presence is neutralized.
The continued clashes highlight the breakdown of ceasefire conditions, raising fears of a broader regional escalation if both sides fail to de-escalate tensions.
