Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden will jointly fund the U.S.-sourced weapons through the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, a NATO-led program that allows allies to purchase advanced American equipment for Kyiv.
The package is intended to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses and support its air force as Russia intensifies strikes on the country’s power grid ahead of winter.

The exact systems included were not disclosed, though previous PURL shipments have featured Patriot interceptors and HIMARS rockets. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the aid comes at a critical moment and praised the region’s continued leadership.
The eight countries have been among Ukraine’s strongest backers since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, contributing billions through earlier PURL commitments.
