OpenAI President Greg Brockman has dismissed concerns about recent executive departures, saying the company’s high profile makes routine leadership changes appear more unusual.
Speaking to CNBC, Brockman said executive turnover is “not actually that atypical” and argued that departures receive greater scrutiny because OpenAI operates under intense public attention.
OpenAI has appointed Dali Rajic, formerly COO of cybersecurity firm Wiz, as its new chief revenue officer. Brockman praised Dresser’s work in expanding the company’s enterprise business and expressed confidence in her replacement.
Brockman said he and CEO Sam Altman provide continuity as OpenAI evolves its leadership team.
The company, valued at $852 billion, is preparing for a potential blockbuster IPO after confidentially filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission in June.
