Democrats and their radical left-wing supporters are continuing to champion the erasure of female sports despite President Donald Trump’s multiple executive orders on the issue.
Trump has made it clear that the federal government recognizes that there are only two sexes, male and female, through one E.O. titled “Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism And Restoring Biological Truth To The Federal Government.”
“These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality,” he stated in the order.
He also signed the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” E.O., which aimed to “protect opportunities for women and girls to compete in safe and fair sports.”
“[I]t is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy. It shall also be the policy of the United States to oppose male competitive participation in women’s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth,” the order stated.
Despite these orders, the left continues to allow male athletes to participate in female sports and forces women and girls to share bathrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms with biological men.
Male athlete Aayden Gallagher is back in the news for winning the gold in the girls’ 400-meter and 200-meter varsity races at the Portland Interscholastic League Championships in Oregon. Earlier in March, Gallagher, who attends McDaniel High School, finished first in the 400-meter preliminary event with a 56.14 time. His time was 0.23 seconds better than the second-place finisher. He did even better in his varsity championship race, finishing 1.01 seconds before the second-place finisher in the 400-meter.
Reduxx Magazine reported that Aayden “set a season record” after beating his female competitors.
But it’s not just female athletes who are suffering from this ideology. Nicole Georgas, a Deerfield mother, filed a complaint with the Justice Department claiming that school administrators forced her daughter and other girls at Shepard Middle School to change in front of a male classmate.
Georgas said that her 13-year-old daughter was forced by an assistant principal and two other teachers to change into her gym uniform in front of a male student in the girls’ locker room in February. School officials claim this is a false accusation. However, Georgas said they have an audio recording of the administrators telling the girls, “You have to change, or you are facing disciplinary action.”
Our girls are not safe, and Democrats are blindly following the minority viewpoint in America.
On March 3, Senate Democrats voted in lockstep to tank common-sense legislation to protect female sports. Despite passing the House with bipartisan support, Senate Democrats voted against Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which would have codified Trump’s E.O. banning male athletes from participating in female sports.
While defending Democrats’ decision to abandon female athletes, Democrat Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman said male athletes who identify as females make up a “small handful” of student-athletes and they “deserve an ally” because they “are just schoolchildren.”
“Empty show votes or cruelty on social media aren’t part of a thoughtful, dignified solution,” Fetterman said.
Outside of the reality that an overwhelming majority of Americans disapprove of allowing men into women’s private spaces and sports teams, Democrats and the left-wing radicals are ignoring the entire female population when they act as if they are taking the moral high ground by mentally-ill protecting men.
The tide has already turned against transgender ideology. Parents are fed up with seeing their daughters harmed and forced to step aside for so-called “transgender athletes.” And yet, Democrats ignore executive orders and actively vote against the people’s will. The president can only do so much to protect America’s daughters. Our only remedy is to vote the elected officials who continue to promote this insanity out of office.
As it stands, American women are being held hostage by Democrats and their radical left-wing supporters, and if we don’t do anything about it now, it will continue.
