Pennsylvania Special Election Could Decide State House Control

Via X

In a district in western Pennsylvania, voters will decide on Tuesday whether Democrats will maintain control of the state House of Representatives with a slim one-vote lead.

The Pennsylvania State House is currently deadlocked, with both Democrats and Republicans holding 101 seats each. Democrats lost their narrow majority in January following the death of Rep. Matt Gergerly. In this special election, voters are choosing between Democrat Dan Goughnour, a police officer, Republican Chuck Davis, a fire chief, and libertarian Adam Kitta.
