Three people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting at the annual Bite of Seattle food festival near the Space Needle on Sunday evening, according to CBS News.
The report said seven people were shot. Two victims died at the scene, while a 56-year-old woman later died at Harborview Medical Center. Among the survivors were a two-year-old boy, a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, all reported to be in stable condition.
According to CBS News, federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting the investigation, while Seattle police remain the lead agency. Officials said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
