Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, received cheers from crowds during their first joint public appearance in the United Kingdom since returning in August.
On Thursday, October 15, they visited three Nottingham charities: the Community Recording Studio, Himmah Hub and Epic Partners.
Their visit comes amid continuing debate over the couple’s status within the royal family and their efforts to secure taxpayer-funded police protection. King Charles III’s office previously described the Sussexes as akin to private citizens.
Harry is also preparing for the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, scheduled for July 10–17. Meanwhile, the couple are settling in the Cotswolds, with Meghan balancing family commitments and potential acting projects.
