The Pentagon is weighing a plan to redirect military aid meant for Ukraine to the Middle East, according to reporting by The Washington Post. The report said the move comes as the United States expands operations against Iran, raising concerns in Kyiv over delays in critical air defense supplies.
According to sources cited in the report, interceptor missiles under the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List could be affected.
The program allows NATO allies to fund US-made weapons for Ukraine. A Ukrainian official told the Kyiv Independent that Kyiv is worried about the potential shift.
