Samsung’s upcoming Android XR smart glasses have reportedly leaked, revealing multiple designs, technical specifications and an expected November launch. The glasses, developed in partnership with eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster, are expected to cost between $349 and $499.
The devices reportedly feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen chipset, a 12MP camera capable of recording 3K video at 30 frames per second, and a lightweight 41-gram design.
Samsung’s glasses are expected to offer up to nine hours of battery life, with the charging case providing an additional 72 hours.
The launch would strengthen Samsung’s push into smart eyewear, positioning the company to challenge Meta’s Ray-Ban lineup through a combination of AI capabilities, established fashion brands and varied designs.
