Sean "Diddy" Combs is now scheduled to be released from federal prison on January 24, 2028, according to an update from the Federal Bureau of Prisons first reported by TMZ.
The revised date is nearly a year earlier than his original projected release and marks the second adjustment in about a month.
The report said Combs' expected release has been revised several times since his conviction, moving from May 2028 to April, then February, and now January 2028.
According to media reports, Combs' spokesperson said the defense team has not been informed of the reason for the updated release date. The prison declined to provide details, citing restrictions on inmate records.
Combs continues to appeal his conviction, while speculation about possible presidential clemency has been denied by President Donald Trump.
