The crew is scheduled to complete an approximately eight-hour journey before docking about 250 miles above Earth. During their stay, they will conduct biomedical and human-performance research examining how microgravity affects blood circulation and clotting.

The reusable Falcon 9 booster separated shortly after liftoff and returned to Earth for landing. The mission marks the 13th long-duration space station crew NASA has launched aboard a SpaceX vehicle since 2020.

The four astronauts will join seven people already aboard the station, which NASA plans to operate through 2030 with international partners including Russia, Canada, Japan and European nations. The mission adds another crewed flight to SpaceX’s expanding orbital operations.
