The Pitt Tops Emmy Nominations With 25 Nods

Max's medical drama The Pitt emerged as the biggest contender for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, earning 25 nominations, while Hacks led the comedy category with 24 nods.

According to the report, The Pitt built on its successful debut season by securing multiple acting nominations, including repeat recognition for Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa, along with several supporting cast members.

The report said Hacks continued its award-winning run as it enters its fifth and final season. Lead actress Jean Smart is once again in contention and could claim her fifth consecutive Emmy for her performance in the series.

According to the report, the nominations were announced on Wednesday ahead of the awards ceremony, which is scheduled for September 14, 2026.

The event will be hosted by Law & Order star Mariska Hargitay and broadcast live on NBC from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
