The head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered billions of fraudulent transactions, exposing another false left-wing narrative.
The Trump Administration, through DOGE, is hitting a nerve among the left-wing media. First, they wanted you to believe that what DOGE is doing is unconstitutional. However, when polls showed that Americans overwhelmingly supported its efforts to uncover wasted spending by the federal government, they switched gears, now claiming that despite DOGE exposing billions in waste, there is no fraud.
“So far, the Trump administration has not shown clear evidence of fraud,” NPR reported on Sunday.
“DOGE has not presented evidence of ‘fraud’; they have highlighted millions of dollars worth of spending that Musk considers wasteful,” Eric Levitz, Vox’s senior correspondent, confidently stated in an X post on Feb. 5.
It’s an uncomfortable exercise for them to undergo because, for decades, billions of dollars in taxpayer money have been wasted on promoting their ideology. But a recent investigation into the Social Security Administration (SSA) shows that not only has the left used Americans to promote their insidious ideologies at home and abroad, but they have also allowed abuse and fraud to run rampant in a popular social program initially intended to be state welfare pensions for the elderly.
Social Security officially began in 1935 after The Great Depression when a 1934 estimate found that nearly half of the elderly in America lacked sufficient income to be self-supporting. Politicians have bloviated that the pension program was depleted in modern discussions of the SSA and its welfare programs. They blamed it on several underlying issues, including a massive Baby Boomer generation set to retire and pull from the fund.
However, thanks to DOGE head Elon Musk, we know that the real reason the pension program is suffering is likely due to a massive amount of fraud. In an X post, Musk showed a screenshot of the number of people pulling Social Security and their age ranges (0-369 years old).
Some of these payments are being made to people who are obviously dead or, at the very least, hold the record for the longest modern lifespan. The screenshot shows that around 16 million Social Security payments are being made to people between the ages of 110 and 369. This does not include the almost 5 million people between 100 and 109 years old who are receiving monthly Social Security checks. The average life expectancy in the U.S. is about 78 years old.
“According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real, and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security,” Musk said.
The federal government has known for years that illegal immigrants are committing fraud by stealing American Social Security numbers (SSNs) to gain employment and other benefits (like Social Security payments). The Centers for Immigration Studies (CIS) released a report claiming that 75% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. are using fraudulent SSNs.
“According to the Social Security Chief Actuary, the ACLU, and illegal immigrant advocates, roughly 75 percent of illegal aliens have fraudulently obtained SSNs that they use for employment and other purposes. All too often these SSNs belong to American citizens, ranging in age from 0 to over 100. However, rather than putting Americans first, the SSA protects illegal aliens by covering up their use of stolen SSNs,” CIS stated.
Musk’s investigation into the SSA revealed that about 90 million more people receive Social Security payments than there are Americans eligible for the program.
In total, about 398 million people are receiving Social Security payments every month in the U.S., which seems odd considering the recent U.S. Census Bureau estimates that only 340 million people are living in the U.S. Musk claims the number of Americans who are eligible to receive Social Security in the U.S. is actually around 310 million.
This would mean that not only is every American receiving a check, which is easily debunked, but about 60 million people not counted by the recent census are also getting Social Security.
The average Social Security retirement benefit in February 2024 was about $1,862 monthly or about $22,344 annually. It is unclear if 90 million fraudulent payments are being made by the SSA every 12 months. Still, Musk said DOGE likely uncovered “the biggest fraud in history” because it is entirely likely that the number of fraudulent payments is much, much higher than zero.
It cannot be understated how badly the federal government has abused the average American. Social Security fraud is just one of many instances. They sold our birthright to the highest bidder, attacked our social cohesion, and continued to bleed us dry to fund our demise. The reason the left wants Americans to distrust the work that DOGE is doing is because the agency is stopping their ability to continue their assault.
