President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that the United States has reached a trade agreement with Indonesia, though no details were released about the scope or content of the deal.
“Great deal, for everybody, just made with Indonesia. I dealt directly with their highly respected President,” Trump wrote on his platform, Truth Social.

This marks the fourth trade deal Trump has announced in the past three months, part of his broader effort to reshape U.S. trade relationships. Previous announcements, including one with Vietnam earlier this month, have yet to be followed by formal documentation or public details.
Indonesia, America’s 23rd-largest trading partner, exported $28 billion in goods to the U.S. last year, primarily apparel and footwear, according to the Commerce Department. U.S. exports to Indonesia totaled $10 billion, led by agricultural products and energy. Indonesian officials did not respond to CNN’s request for comment at the time of publication.
