Trump Blames Courts For Blocking Deportations

President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused the U.S. court system of obstructing his administration’s immigration enforcement efforts, specifically targeting judges he labeled as “activist.” In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Our court system is not letting me do the job I was elected to do. Activist judges must let the Trump administration deport murderers, and other criminals who have come into our country illegally, without delay.”

The president’s remarks follow reports detailing his administration’s push to expand third-country deportations, a policy allowing the U.S. to remove undocumented immigrants to nations other than their home country. The proposal has drawn legal scrutiny and sparked criticism from immigrant rights advocates, who argue it puts migrants at risk and violates international norms. Trump has made immigration enforcement a central pillar of his second term agenda, vowing to toughen deportation measures and fast-track removals.
