Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said U.S. forces responded forcefully to Iranian actions and warned that any future attacks would be met with an even stronger military response. He claimed Iran "badly" wants a deal but questioned whether Tehran could be trusted to honor any agreement.

According to U.S. Central Command, American forces carried out another round of strikes targeting Iran's military capabilities linked to attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The report said about 170 Iranian military targets have been struck in recent operations.

Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, saying they violated the memorandum of understanding reached last month. Oil prices remained elevated amid renewed concerns over tensions in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
