President Donald Trump said he regrets nominating Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, telling TIME that the three have voted against his administration too often.

The comments came in an interview published Thursday and reflect his growing criticism of the court over several recent rulings.

Trump’s frustration has included the Court’s decisions involving his policies on tariffs and birthright citizenship. In the June birthright citizenship case, the Court rejected key aspects of Trump’s executive order, with Barrett and Gorsuch joining the controlling majority. Court records also show Gorsuch dissented and Kavanaugh separately concurred in that case.

Trump has also criticized the Court over its handling of his attempt to remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook and its decision involving mail-in voting.

He has argued that some rulings have imposed significant costs on the country. His remarks highlight tensions between the president and three justices he selected during his first term.
