Trump Hints At Third Term Possibility, Sparks Curiosity

President Donal Trump / Via Truth Social

President Donald Trump raised eyebrows with comments suggesting he might seek a third term in office, despite the Constitution's two-term limit. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump declined to rule out staying past January 2029, saying, "We have a long way to go before we can even think about that." Earlier, he had told NBC News he wasn’t joking about the idea, adding that “there are methods” to potentially serve a third term.

Trump, 78, acknowledged that many of his supporters have encouraged him to pursue the idea, with allies like former adviser Steve Bannon and Rep. Andy Ogles proposing amendments to the 22nd Amendment.

Trump, however, emphasized his focus on the present, noting there are nearly four years remaining before any decision could be made. Having inked 107 orders in 67 days, it is the most any President has signed in history, according to White House.
