Trump Launches America.gov To Centralize Federal Services

President Donald Trump has launched America.gov, a new digital portal intended to provide a single entry point for federal government information and services. The platform is designed to simplify access to government websites, databases and forms.

Airbnb co-founder and U.S. Chief Design Officer Joe Gebbia developed the platform, which aims to help users navigate services such as Medicare enrollment and passport renewals without searching across multiple government websites.

America.gov also includes an AI chatbot designed to answer questions in plain language. The administration says the platform is being developed with protections for user data and privacy.

The launch comes as the Trump administration promotes expanded use of artificial intelligence across federal services. Technology executives including Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Jensen Huang and Mark Zuckerberg also met with Trump on Tuesday.

Later this year, the administration plans to allow users to complete tasks such as passport renewals and Medicare enrollment directly through America.gov, with additional federal services expected to be integrated over time.
