President Donald Trump disclosed more than 1,000 stock transactions made in June, including trades involving energy and defense companies affected by his administration’s Iran war, CNN reported Thursday.
Other transactions involved companies affected by administration policy, including drugmakers Eli Lilly and Merck and AI giant Nvidia.
The disclosures have drawn criticism from Democrats and government watchdogs, who question whether Trump’s extensive trading activity creates potential conflicts of interest. The White House has maintained that his investments are independently managed and that Trump does not control the accounts.
Trump also reported purchasing between $15,001 and $50,000 of SpaceX stock following the company’s high-profile public offering.
According to CNN, the latest filing adds to an unusually large volume of financial activity during Trump’s second term.
