White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early stage breast cancer but plans to continue working during treatment, President Donald Trump said Monday. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Wiles’ prognosis is “excellent” and praised her strength and commitment to public service.
According to the report, Wiles will begin medical treatment immediately but intends to remain active at the White House. Trump said she expects to spend most of her time working as she undergoes treatment.

Wiles, 68, is one of Trump’s most trusted advisers and currently serves as the first woman to hold the role of White House chief of staff. The report said she previously worked as a political strategist and helped lead Trump’s successful 2016 campaign efforts in Florida.
Trump said he and First Lady Melania Trump are supporting Wiles during her treatment. He described her as a tough and dedicated leader who remains focused on serving the American people during a challenging period.
