Donald Trump has threatened to sue The Wall Street Journal and its owner Rupert Murdoch over a report linking him to a 2003 birthday album for Jeffrey Epstein that allegedly included a bawdy letter and a drawing signed by Trump.

“I told Rupert Murdoch it was a scam... now I’m going to sue his ass off,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, calling the Journal a “pile of garbage.” He said he looks forward to putting Murdoch on the witness stand.

The Journal’s front-page story claims Trump contributed a signed sketch of a naked woman to Epstein’s 50th birthday book. Trump and his team insist the letter is fake and say they warned both Murdoch and editor Emma Tucker prior to publication.

Despite pressure from the White House to kill the story, the Journal published it on Thursday. The story immediately became its most-read article. WSJ declined to comment on Trump’s threats.
