The United States and Saudi Arabia have signed a $142 billion defense sales agreement, the White House announced on Tuesday. The deal will supply Riyadh with advanced military equipment and services from American defense contractors. The agreement is part of a wider $600 billion Saudi investment commitment in the U.S. economy, according to a White House factsheet.

In addition to defense sales, the deal includes major commercial exports: $14.2 billion in GE gas turbines and energy technology, and $4.8 billion in Boeing 737-8 passenger aircraft. The Trump administration described the agreement as a “milestone” in U.S.-Saudi economic and strategic ties, signaling a renewed phase of cooperation between the two nations.
Officials say the defense and energy packages will boost American manufacturing and job creation while reinforcing military and industrial links between Washington and Riyadh.
