U.S. Fighter Jet Reportedly Shot Down In Iran

A U.S. fighter jet has reportedly been shot down over Iran, with a search underway for its two crew members, according to Iranian media and a source familiar with the incident.

The report said debris and images released by Iranian outlets suggest the aircraft may be an F-15.

If confirmed, this would mark the first U.S. jet loss to enemy fire since the conflict began. U.S. officials have not yet responded, and details remain unverified as rescue operations continue.
