The United States has sharply expanded its military presence near Iran as President Donald Trump pushes Tehran to reach a deal on its nuclear program, according to CBS News.
The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford revealed its position off Morocco this week while heading toward the Mediterranean, signaling an accelerated deployment.

It is the second carrier ordered toward the region, joining forces already operating near Iran.
CBS News tracking data showed more than 50 U.S. military aircraft moving east in a single day, including refueling, transport, and surveillance planes. Fighter jets have also been photographed landing at U.S. bases in Europe.
U.S. officials said military options are ready, though no final decision on strikes has been made. The buildup appears intended to pressure Iran while keeping the threat of force clearly visible.
