Ukraine’s military confirmed on Nov. 6 that it launched a drone and missile strike on a Russian base used for storing and assembling Shahed-type drones at Donetsk airport, a key logistics hub in occupied eastern Ukraine.
The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported “a powerful secondary detonation,” indicating large stockpiles of explosives were hit.

The operation involved missile, artillery, and Unmanned Systems Forces, led by Commander Madyar, who said the strike followed months of reconnaissance. Videos shared on Telegram showed massive explosions lighting up the night sky.
