Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly proposed a three-way summit with US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss ending the Ukraine war, without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The proposal comes amid growing friction between Washington and Kyiv over sanctions relief for Russia and military support. Zelenskyy has warned that easing restrictions could prolong the conflict, while Trump has accused him of obstructing peace efforts.
Meanwhile, Russia launched missiles and drones across Ukraine, damaging energy infrastructure and leaving at least 550,000 households without electricity, according to Zelenskyy. Kyiv has also raised concerns about Starlink restrictions and intelligence-sharing disruptions.
