Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon are causing severe harm to children and civilians, with humanitarian agencies warning of a worsening crisis, according to UNICEF and UN reports. The agency said recent strikes killed at least 33 children and injured more than 150 within minutes.
UNICEF reported that around 600 children have been killed or wounded since early March, as the conflict intensifies. More than one million people have been displaced nationwide, including hundreds of thousands of children, many forced to move multiple times.
At least 1,530 people have been killed and 4,812 injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon. The toll includes 130 children, while medical workers and emergency services have also been heavily impacted.#Infograph pic.twitter.com/p0SEPU1vM7

The World Food Programme described the situation as a “devastating humanitarian” emergency, citing hundreds of casualties in recent days. Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported over 300 deaths and more than 1,100 injuries in a single day of strikes.
According to aid agencies, children are being pulled from rubble, separated from families and suffering trauma. Officials warned that continued fighting is limiting access to deliver critical humanitarian assistance.
