US Continues Air Campaign Against Iran

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) launched another round of air strikes on Iran, marking the sixth consecutive night of military operations, according to a statement posted on X.

The command said the operation involved fighter jets, drones and warships using precision-guided munitions to strike dozens of Iranian military targets.

According to CENTCOM, the attacks hit coastal surveillance systems, air defense sites, logistics facilities and naval assets.

The report said the objective is to weaken Iran's military capabilities and respond to recent attacks on commercial shipping in the region.

CENTCOM also stated that more than 50,000 U.S. troops remain deployed across the Middle East and are maintaining a high state of operational readiness.
