Several US fighter jets crashed in Kuwait on Monday, with all American crew members ejecting safely, according to Kuwait’s defense ministry. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
Kuwaiti authorities said they are coordinating closely with US forces and taking joint technical measures to determine what went wrong.
Preliminary reports identified at least one aircraft as a US made F 15 fighter jet. Local residents reported seeing pilots eject before one jet crashed.

Video footage geolocated near Al Jahra showed a pilot descending by parachute. Sources include the Kuwait defense ministry and the Kuwait News Agency.
Earlier the same day, Kuwait’s air defenses intercepted multiple hostile drones near Kuwait City, though no country was blamed. The crash comes amid escalating US and Israeli military strikes on Iran.
President Donald Trump said dozens of Iranian leaders had been killed. Iran has continued missile and drone attacks, raising fears of wider Gulf involvement, according to regional analysts.
