The U.S. State Department has issued an urgent advisory warning all American citizens to leave Iran immediately, citing escalating regional tensions and an increased threat of military strikes.
Due to high tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex and can change quickly. We remind U.S. citizens in Israel and the broader region of the continued need for caution and encourage them to monitor the news for breaking developments.

“U.S. citizens in Iran face serious, increasing dangers,” the advisory stated, adding that no travel to Iran is considered safe under current circumstances.
The warning follows a wave of Israeli airstrikes on Iran and the subsequent launch of over 100 drones by Tehran. The advisory also noted the risk of missiles, drones, or rockets traversing Iraqi airspace, prompting Iraq to suspend air traffic at all airports and shut its airspace entirely.
