U.S. Urges Citizens To Leave Iran Immediately Amid Strike Threats

The U.S. State Department has issued an urgent advisory warning all American citizens to leave Iran immediately, citing escalating regional tensions and an increased threat of military strikes.

“U.S. citizens in Iran face serious, increasing dangers,” the advisory stated, adding that no travel to Iran is considered safe under current circumstances.

The warning follows a wave of Israeli airstrikes on Iran and the subsequent launch of over 100 drones by Tehran. The advisory also noted the risk of missiles, drones, or rockets traversing Iraqi airspace, prompting Iraq to suspend air traffic at all airports and shut its airspace entirely.

“In the event of such an incident, seek overhead cover and shelter in place,” the warning advised. “Do not expose yourself to falling debris.”

The announcement underscores rising fears of a broader conflict in the Middle East, with officials cautioning Americans against being caught in the crossfire.
