Vice President JD Vance said the Trump administration mishandled its public communications regarding records related to Jeffrey Epstein, while rejecting suggestions that officials intentionally concealed information.
According to the report, Vance made the comments during a podcast interview, acknowledging that the administration's messaging had created confusion.
The report said Vance cited former Attorney General Pam Bondi's earlier statements about an alleged Epstein "client list," suggesting she may have overstated what the administration possessed.
He maintained that the communication strategy, rather than deliberate concealment, was the central issue.
The report added that Vance also asserted Epstein had connections to senior American and Israeli intelligence figures, a claim likely to draw further attention as congressional inquiries continue.
