Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets across Pakistan on Sunday for nationwide protests and marches organized by the Islamist political party Jamaat-e-Islami.
Citizens gathered in major cities to speak out against rising fuel prices, heavy taxation, and severe inflation that have been straining households across the country.
The demonstrations were spearheaded by Jamaat-e-Islami to address widespread public frustration over economic pressures, including skyrocketing electricity bills, high tax burdens, and surging fuel costs.
