President Donald Trump said he is close to deciding whether to launch what he described as a "massive attack" on Iran, warning that Tehran has not yet faced sufficient consequences for its actions, according to Axios.

The report said U.S. forces have carried out 13 consecutive nights of strikes against Iranian targets, while Trump indicated Israel would quickly join a broader military operation if requested.

He also warned that Iran would be held responsible for future attacks by the Tehran-backed Houthi movement after the group claimed strikes on two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

According to the report, Iran responded by claiming responsibility for attacks on U.S. military facilities in Jordan and accused the United Kingdom of becoming an "accomplice" by allowing American forces to use British military bases. Tehran also warned European nations against supporting U.S. military operations.

The report added that oil prices remained elevated despite a slight decline, reflecting investor concerns over a widening regional conflict.
