Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman focused on regional stability and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions.
The talks come amid a significant U.S. military buildup in the Gulf. The administration has assembled naval forces, including the USS Abraham Lincoln, as Trump continues to warn Iran and press for a nuclear deal.
Washington and Tehran are not engaged in formal negotiations, and Iran has threatened forceful retaliation if attacked.
