Whistleblower Raises Alarm Over Trump Administration’s Voter Fraud Initiative

A DHS whistleblower has accused the Department of Homeland Security of using questionable investigative methods and unreliable data in a nationwide probe targeting suspected non-citizen voting, according to a report released by Senate Democrats.

The “Unlawful Voter Initiative” reportedly reviews voter records across all 50 states and could involve hundreds of thousands of people. Agents are examining noncitizens and naturalized citizens suspected of registering or voting before obtaining citizenship.

DHS defended the operation, saying it cross-checks publicly available voter information against federal immigration records to protect election integrity.

Senate Democrats, led by Sen. Alex Padilla, have demanded that Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin halt the initiative. The Trump administration maintains that the effort is designed to ensure only eligible voters participate in elections.
