The White House has rejected Iranian claims that Washington has provided a preliminary draft framework to end the maritime conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
As reported by CNN, National Security Council officials denied the accuracy of the leak, with a senior administration official calling the Iranian media text "a complete fabrication" designed to project false leverage.
The denial comes after Iran's state television reported that Tehran had obtained an initial, unofficial draft framework for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The purported draft claimed the United States would lift its naval blockade and withdraw forces in exchange for Tehran restoring commercial shipping within a month. Trump administration negotiators maintain that the U.S. naval blockade remains in place, insisting that any final security resolution requires verifiable concessions on Iran's nuclear stockpile.
