Why Is Trump Threatening 'Bigger Strikes' On Iran?

President Donald Trump warned Iran it would face “bigger and better” military strikes if it fails to reach a “real agreement” with the United States, according to his Truth Social post.

He said U.S. forces will remain deployed until Iran fully complies with ceasefire terms.

The warning follows a two-week ceasefire agreement involving the U.S., Iran and Israel aimed at easing tensions and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. However, conflicting interpretations of the deal have already strained the truce.

Iran shut the strait again after Israeli strikes in Lebanon, which reportedly killed hundreds and triggered retaliatory rocket fire by Hezbollah. Iran has also introduced alternative shipping routes amid security concerns in the waterway.

The developments highlight the fragile nature of the ceasefire, with escalating regional violence threatening to derail diplomacy.

Officials warn that without a firm agreement, the conflict could quickly return to full-scale military confrontation.
