Zelensky Urges U.S. And Allies To Hit Russia Harder After Massive Missile Strike

Via @ZelenskyyUa

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned Russia’s latest large-scale missile and drone barrage that struck multiple regions overnight, killing two people and injuring dozens, including children.

In a post on X, Zelensky said the “complex, combined strike” involved over 650 drones and 50 missiles of various types, including ballistic and aeroballistic weapons.

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted many, but residential areas and energy facilities were hit across at least ten regions, including Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, and Lviv.

Zelensky said rescue operations are ongoing and urged that power and water be restored quickly in affected areas.

Calling the attack a “terrorist war against life itself,” he appealed to the United States, Europe, and G7 nations to intensify sanctions on Russia’s oil, gas, and financial sectors, and to impose secondary sanctions on those funding Moscow’s aggression.
