21 Nations Accuse Iran Of Plotting Attacks Abroad

The signatories also condemned recent attacks targeting Jewish communities, Iranian journalists and US interests in Europe

The United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and 18 other nations have jointly called on Iran to immediately stop what they described as "lethal plotting and other malign actions" across Europe, North America and Australia.

In a statement released Wednesday, the countries accused Iran of working with international and local criminal groups to carry out activities that include alleged assassination plots, kidnappings, intimidation campaigns and harassment operations.

The statement said such actions undermine national sovereignty and violate international norms.

According to the joint declaration, responsibility for the alleged activities lies with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, its Quds Force and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security.

The signatories also condemned recent attacks targeting Jewish communities, Iranian journalists and US interests in Europe. The report said some of those incidents were claimed by Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya, a group alleged to have links to Iran.

The statement was signed by 22 countries, including Canada, France, Germany and several Nordic and European nations, which urged Tehran to halt such activities immediately.
