Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) surpassed a $1 trillion market valuation for the first time on Monday as investors continued betting on rising demand for AI computing, according to Reuters.
AMD shares climbed 9.6% to a record $613.31. The rally strengthens AMD’s position as a major rival to Nvidia, the leading supplier of graphics processors used in artificial intelligence systems.
