Saudi Arabia’s national shipping company Bahri has confirmed that two crew members were killed in a security incident involving its oil tanker SIDR while it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The two sailors, both Filipino nationals, died after the vessel was struck on Monday evening. Bahri said it remains in close contact with the remaining crew and is coordinating with relevant maritime authorities as the situation is assessed.
