Canada Calls For Dialogue As US-Iran Fighting Continues

Canada has urged the United States and Iran to exercise restraint and return to dialogue as hostilities continue in the Middle East. Speaking in Islamabad alongside Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand expressed concern over attacks on civilian infrastructure, including power and water desalination facilities.

Her remarks come despite a Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding signed last month that was intended to reduce tensions between Washington and Tehran.
