Cuba Faces Fresh Blackout As US Pressure Intensifies

President Miguel Díaz-Canel blamed U.S. restrictions on fuel imports, accusing Washington of attempting to create social unrest through economic pressure.

Cuba experienced another nationwide blackout after its national electricity grid collapsed, further exposing the country's worsening energy crisis, reported by CNN.

According to Cuba's Energy Ministry, the entire power system failed on Monday, while grid operators began investigating the cause. Energy Minister Vicente de la O Levy said emergency "microsystems" had been activated to restore electricity to essential services as authorities worked to rebuild the network.
