Democrats have released a campaign advertisement featuring relatives of Virginia Giuffre, who publicly accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse, in a competitive Colorado congressional race, according to CNN.

The ad supports Democratic candidate Jessica Killin, who is challenging Republican Rep. Jeff Crank in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. Giuffre’s brother and sister-in-law accuse Crank of refusing to meet them and opposing efforts to release Epstein-related files.

Crank’s campaign did not immediately respond. He previously declined to sign a bipartisan petition that would have forced a House vote on releasing Epstein files. He later voted for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which required the government to release extensive investigative records.

Giuffre, who died by suicide last year, accused Epstein of trafficking her and alleged sexual assault by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew. He has denied the allegations.

The Colorado district includes Colorado Springs and had been considered safely Republican. Crank won his first term in 2024 by about 13 points, but Democrats now see the district as potentially competitive.
