The messages, released by the House Oversight Committee, show Summers seeking Epstein’s romantic advice, making sexist remarks and maintaining contact even after Epstein’s crimes were widely known.
Warren said Summers “cannot be trusted” to teach or advise students and argued that his long-running association with Epstein reflects “monumentally bad judgment.”

Summers, who once served in both the Clinton and Obama administrations, has previously said he regrets the relationship.
The Center for American Progress, where Summers is a senior fellow, said it is reviewing the disclosures. Harvard has not yet commented.
President Donald Trump has also ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Epstein’s ties to high-profile figures and institutions, including Summers, Bill Clinton and JPMorgan Chase.
