Trump said rebuilding Gaza requires a “safe condition for the people” under an “honest police force,” adding that significant funds have already been committed to reconstruction.

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, officials from the Middle East, Europe, and major financial institutions convened for a three-day conference to coordinate post-war rebuilding efforts.
The UK government said the initiative will be Palestinian-led and focused on clearing rubble, restoring infrastructure, and reviving education and healthcare.

The two-year-long Israeli offensive, launched after Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack, left Gaza devastated, displacing most of its population, with death toll climbing over 67,000.
The offensive triggered an international backlash, with the United Nations calling it a genocide.
