According to Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei, Tehran holds the United States responsible for the latest resumption of hostilities.

Speaking at a press conference in Tehran, Baqaei argued that Israel’s military actions cannot be separated from U.S. policy.

The report said Iran believes Israel would not undertake major regional operations without prior coordination and cooperation with Washington.

Tehran's remarks come amid continued uncertainty over the stability of recent ceasefire efforts and broader Middle East security concerns.

While Iran signaled a halt to its current military campaign, officials cautioned that further developments in Lebanon could trigger a new phase of escalation.
