Federal authorities carried out coordinated raids across Minnesota as part of an ongoing fraud investigation, according to statements from the Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security.
Officials said 22 search warrants were executed in the Minneapolis area, targeting multiple business locations. According to CNN and affiliate reports, many of the sites are linked to Medicaid-funded operations, including child care facilities.

The Justice Department said the operation involved federal, state, and local agencies and was authorized by court orders. Authorities clarified that the raids are not related to immigration enforcement, though Homeland Security Investigations participated.
